UK Broadcaster Channel 5 has recently picked up the broadcast rights for the hit preschool series Bubble Guppies, which is currently airing in the UK and Ireland via Nick Jr. The show will become part of Channel 5’s Milkshake! programming block this spring.

Created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull, Bubble Guppies follows the underwater adventures of a group of merperson preschoolers, as they live life under the sea and tackle everyday problems while incorporating important lessons related to math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development

Nickelodeon will also roll out a complementary multi-category Bubble Guppies consumer product range in the UK starting this fall across publishing, toys, softwares and home entertainment.
