Channel 5's Milkshake! Gets Wanda and the Alien

Random House Children’s Screen Entertainment and Komixx Entertainment have recently announced that the hit property Wanda and the Alien has just been comissioned by Channel 5’s Milkshake! for broadcast in 2013/14.

Wanda and the Alien is based on a series of books about a little girl rabbit who meets an alien. The book was written by award-winning author and illustrator Sue Hendra and aims to celebrate how people are both alike and different, teaching pre-school boys and girls compassion, friendship, and acceptance.

The Wanda and the Alien animated series is already in production, with an expected 52 x 10 minute programs that use flash animation. The first episode was broadcast in Q4 2013:
