Chi’s Sweet Home Manga Receives New 3DCG Anime

On Thursday, Kodahansha’s Morning magazine revealed that Kanata Konami’s Chi’s Sweet Home manga is finally getting its own 3DCG television anime series, with an expected launch this coming fall. The new manga is set in Paris, after Chi’s sojourn to the city in the original manga’s final chapter.

Chi’s Sweet Home focuses on a kitten who gets lost after going out for the first time. Yōhei Yamada then discovers her but her family’s apartment doesn’t allow pets – but this does not stop them from raising Chi. Most of Chi’s stories happen around the Yamada family or the dogs, cats and the occasional rabbit that live in the neighborhood.
