Cloudbabies Make their Way to Germany
After a successful presentation at the recent MIPCOM market in Cannes, Hoho Rights continues to prove that the future is indeed “in the cloud,” as they have announced a key sale for their new CG animated preschool series Cloudbabies, which is slated to make its way to Germany via ARD and ZDF’s children’s channel KIKA in 2014.
Cloudbabies (52 x 10) focuses on the four eponymous childlike characters who are tasked with looking after the sky, as well as the other denizens of the sky such as Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Fuffa cloud, and Little Star. Together with a mischievous imp named Bobo White, the Cloudbabies take residence in a house on a big, fluffy cloud, doing their tasks day in and day out as they ride out on their Skyhorsies.
Created by Bridget Appleby, CloudBabies has already debuted in the UK last year via CBeebies, and has already found a number of new broadcasters around the world, including ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), Hop! (Israel), S4C (Wales), PTS (Taiwan) and MiniMini (Poland).
