Comedy Central Greenlights Bento Box’s Legends

According to a recent report from Deadline.com, Comedy Central has just greenlighted Bento Box Entertainment’s animated comedy series Legends, which marks the first original series pick-up since Mike Clements was tapped to head the new Creative Development and Original Programming Division last year.

This is not Bento Box’s first dealings with Comedy Central, as the studio is also responsible for the animation on the cabler’s animated comedy series Brickleberry. The studio’s other works include Bob’s Burgers on Fox and The Awesomes for Hulu.

Legends focuses on the exploits of three high school basketball players who might not be legends in their own right, but legends in their own minds, at least – Jamal, Grover, and Milk. The three best buddies try their best to make an impression on both the court and with their peers, which usually end in hilarity.
