Coolabi Starts Production on Scream Street

Coolabi Group has recently started production on a new stop-motion animated series titled “Scream Street.” Consisting of 52 x 11 minute episodes, the series will be a co-pro effort with animation studio Factory TM. The United Kingdom will see airings of the series via lead broadcaster CBBC.

Scream Street is a comedy horror series based on Tommy Donbavand and Walker Books’ hit book series, focusing on the adventures of Luke Watson – a teen who’ll pass off as normal were it not for his werewolf gene. When the Government Housing of Unusual Lifeforms (G.H.O.U.L.) finds out about Luke’s situation, they move him and his parents to a place where Luke will fit in: Scream Street.

CBBC will start airing Scream Street in 2016, but select footage will be shown in advance at this year’s MIPCOM.
