Corus Entertainment Expands Cartoon Network Canada’s Library


Now that Cartoon Network Canada has been made available to over five million subscribers via pre-existing distribution partners and new carriers Rogers, Shaw and Shaw Direct, Corus Entertainment will be boosting their library of high quality content with the addition of popular CN shows like Adventure Time, Clarence, Steven Universe, and Teen Titans Go!. This makes CN Canada the exclusive home for these shows within the region.

“We’re thrilled to partner with our distributors to extend Cartoon Network’s powerhouse brand in more households,” said Maria Hale, Executive Vice President, Head of Content Distribution and Pay Television. “Over five million TV subscribers will now have access to the network’s top-tier programming.”

“This is an exciting time for viewers across a wide range of demographics who embrace Cartoon Network’s uniquely hilarious shows,” said Colin Bohm, Executive Vice President, Head of Corus Kids. “Fans and new subscribers can look forward to a stellar fall lineup of all the best new and returning series exclusively on Cartoon Network.”

Cartoon Network Canada’s Fall 2015 schedule now includes the following:

Uncle Grandpa airs Thursdays at 5 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
Clarence airs Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
Teen Titans Go! airs Thursdays at 6 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
We Bare Bears airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
The Amazing World of Gumball airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
Regular Show airs Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT starting September 3
Steven Universe airs Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET/PT starting September 17
