Curious George Launches 7th Season on PBS Kids

On December 3 (check local listings for exact time), PBS Kids will be launching he 7th season of the iconic children’s series Curious George with a trip down under and a special appearance by the animal conservationist Bindi Irwin, who is the daughter of the late Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin.

In the first episode of the 7th season, titled “Monkey Down Under,” George and The Man with the Yellow Hat set out on an Australian Outback Adventure. The episode features Bindi teaching George about koalas, emus, kangaroos, and other animals.

The season premiere will be followed by two more debut episodes that will air on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 4 and 5, respectively. Curious George is a production of Imagine Entertainment, WGBS Boston, and Universal 1440 Entertainment. The series is sponsored on PBS Kids by Chuck E. Cheese’s, Stride Rite Children’s Group, and ABCmouse.com. Additional funding is provided by public TV viewers.
