CW To Air WWE Show and Dragonball Z with Vortexx

The CW Network will be airing a new Saturday morning kids programming block called the Vortexx starting on August 25, at 7 AM. The block will contain an odd – yet highly entertaining – assortment of old and new kid-oriented shows that include Dragonball Z, and the WWE’s Saturday Morning Slam.

The WWE’s Saturday Morning Slam certainly brings to mind the classic 80s approach of the promotion, which catered a lot to kids using storylines, characters, and timeslots that are more kid-friendly.

Saturday Morning Slam will be a half hour long show that features one exclusive match along with a variety of behind the scenes and news magazine style content related to WWE talent. The promotion will also use the show as the platform for their new B.A. STAR anti-bullying campaign.

Along with the aforementioned Dragonball Z re-broadcast, CW’s 5 hour Vortexx block will also include the likes of Iron Man, Justice League Unlimited, Power Rangers, and Yu-Gi-Oh, ensuring that there will be something for everyone.
