DC Super Hero Girls Flies to Cartoon Network in 2018

Warner Bros. Animation has recently started production on the new animated action comedy series titled DC Super Hero Girls, which has been scheduled to debut on Cartoon Network in 2018. The series is built on the brand presence established by the successful series of DC Super Hero Girls home video movies, which features fresh character designs and stories from Emmy Award-winning producer Lauren Faust.

DC Super Hero Girls features teenaged versions of DC’s most popular super heroines, such as Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Batgirl among others working together to protect Metropolis from some of the most sinister super villains in the DC Universe, all the while trying to juggle school work, friendships, family duties, and their social life. To make matters more complicated, they have to deal with the hassle of trying to keep their super powers and super heroine identity a secret.

The DC Super Hero Girls series is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!, Justice League Action.)
