Dentsu and DreamWorks Team Up for Be@rbrick Cartoon
If you have an interest in toys that are currently dominating certain niches of the market, there is a chance that you are familiar with Medicom Toy’s collectible pop-art figure line called Be@rbrick, which consists of bear-headed block figures that come in a variety of colors and design patterns. If you are not familiar with the product, chances are you will soon be – because Japanese advertising giant Dentsu and NBCUniversal’s DreamWorks Animation Television have joined forces in order to develop a new cartoon series based on the toyline.
With Dentsu involved, there can be no question about the quality of the series as they are behind notable toy-inspired animated franchises such as Yo-Kai Watch, and DreamWorks Animation Television is no slouch either, having produced recent animated juggernauts such as Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters, All Hail King Julien, and even Voltron: Legenday Defender.
