Denver: The Last Dinosaur Reboot Debuts This Month in France

With Voltron: Legendary Defender now over, another classic World Events Productions is about to be brought back. Denver: The Last Dinosaur, once a 50 episode France-USA co-production that ran in 1988, is back in a new CG-animated series produced by Miraclous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’s Zagtoon and ON Entertainment in France.

The new show is set to debut on M6 in France on August 27th at 8:15AM. Here’s the opening theme, featuring a refreshed version of the original’s title music now sung by Noam Kaniel:

Follow Denver and his Dinopal gang from Bones Town, California on incredible adventures like exploring the town’s mysterious secrets, trying Harry’s inventions or simply playing music together. No one has time to get bored!

According to series distributor PGS Entertainment, the first season consists of 52 eleven minute episodes, with the first batch of 13 available to international broadcasters by October. Episodes 14-26 will follow in February, 27-39 in May and 40-52 in October. Information on international partners hasn’t been shared.

While perhaps a bit of an obscure series in North America, the original Denver was a beloved classic in France and the new look has seen a mixed reception from older fans. What do you think? Leave a comment down below.
