Destination D: 75 Years of Disney Animated Features

Destination D: 75 Years of Disney Animated Features
On August 11 to 12 this year, Disney will pay tribute to their long animation history with D23’s Destination D: 75 Years of Disney Animated Features, which will be held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.

Destination D will be hosted by Walt Disney’s official fan club, D23, and will honor the studio’s entire 75 years of history producing the best animated features in the industry, from 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph.

The event will feature exclusive previews of upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios projects, salutes to past Disney animators and artists, hands on activities, as well as a reunion of Disney animated voice talents. There’s also a glimpse at the effect of the Disney animated features on the Disney parks. The even will also host a showing of rare and never before seen artwork and film footage, plus a special tribute to Snow White.

Tickets for the event are available to D23 members only, and cost $225. The tickets will go on sale on April 18.
