Destiny Sequel Slated for 2017
According to an announcement from Activision, the release of a full sequel to Bungie’s popular Online First Person Shooter Destiny is sometime in 2017. The rumors about the development of Destiny 2 was confirmed when the video gaming giant stated that they are on its way to launching a huge new expansion for the original Destiny before the end of 2016. Activision also has plans of doing a sequel on 2017.
A contract has leaked in May 2012 about Bungie’s deal with Activision Blizzard was for 4 Destiny games, which are planned for alternate years beginning from Q3 2013. However, the franchise starter got delayed and only made it to the market in September 2014.
Destiny could have more than 25 million registered users who have almost 3 billion hours in-game.
