DHX Appoints New North American Partners for Teletubbies

DHX Media’s brand management and consumer products arm DHX Brands has recently appointed a number of new North American licensees for the Teletubbies property. The new licensees are no doubt buoyed on by the preschool series’ upcoming relaunch on Nick Jr. for the US and Family Jr. for Canada.

The new licensees include Spin Master (North American Master Toy), Accessory Innovations (bags, backpacks, hats), SG Company (footwear), Franco Manufacturing (juvenile bedding) and Betesh (toddler bedding). Current licensee Vtech is also extending its ELA deal into North America, adding the region to its existing licenses for the UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Iberia and Australia/New Zealand.
