DHX Media's Caillou Gets New International Deals

Canadian distributor and producer DHX Media has just signed a bunch of new broadcast and licensing deals for their hit preschool property Caillou. The fourth season of the series was already sold to PBS Kids, but DHX reports several new licensing agreements across toy, storage containers, health and beauty and puzzle game categories, as well as a deal that will see fans create their own personalized video invitations.

One of the newest licensees is Percy3D, which is a video platform that encourages people to create their own personalized video moment using 3D visual effects and multimedia technologies. Percy3D has come on board as they took worldwide digital party invitation rights to Caillou in a 3 year deal. Party goods, on the other hand, are still with Buy Seasons, which renewed their agreement with DHX.

Sprout has also picked up the holiday special titled Caillou’s Holiday Movie, in which the titular character tries to o big boy activities such as helping shovel snow and making holiday presents.
