Digimon World: Next Order Gets Japanese Release Date

When Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Digimon World: Next Order’s January release date for the west a few days ago, the Japanese release date was notably absent. A more recent announcement has rectified this, with the game being set for a February 26, 2017 release in Japan via the PS4.

This makes it one of those rare occasions when the US gets a game based on a Japanese media franchise earlier than Japan. To be fair, though – Japan already got the PS Vita version back in March.

The PS4 version of Digimon World: Next Order will be titled Digimon World: Next Order International Edition and will feature 12 new Digimon, including MagnaGarurumon and EmperorGreymon.
