Riding high on the success of Dinosaur Train all over the globe, particularly in Europe, The Jim Henson Company continues to secure all sorts of new deals applying to International television, digital and consumer products, and home entertainment licensing rights for the multi award-winning kids’ series.
Dinosaur Train focuses on a curious young Tyrannosaurus Rex named Buddy and his adopted Pteranodon family. Together, they board the Dinosaur Train in order to meet other kinds of dinosaurs and go on adventures together.
The new deals include the show’s second season, which was acquired by Nickelodeon for the UK, Canal+’s Piwi for France, and YLE for Finland. The series’ first season has been licensed to Australia via Channel 11. Both first and second season’s license have been acquired by Canal Panda for Portugal and Zee Learn for India.
