Disney’s Prep & Landing Demystifies the Santa Claus Phenomenon
If you’re a parent, chances are you’ve already had problems with trying to explain the specifics regarding Santa Claus and his many magical abilities – how does he fit into the chimney? How is he able to deliver all the presents to children from all over the world in one night? How can he fly? And why the heck is he kissing Mommy? Luckily for you, Walt Disney will answer all of the above questions (except for the kissing part, Mommy will have to answer that one) in this coming holiday season, with the DVD release of Prep & Landing.
Prep & Landing follows the story of a high-tech team of elves who spend the entire year ensuring that homes around the world are prepared for Santa’s yearly visits. The story itself focuses on an elf named Wayne (voiced by Dave Foley) who is sourgraping over not being promoted, instead being partnered with an idealistic rookie elf named Lanny (voiced by Derek Richardson) to execute a special last minute Christmas Eve mission.
Prepping the House
Prep & Landing originally aired in 2009 as ABC TV’s first animated TV special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The DVD was released last November 22, with the MSRP of $19.99 U.S. / $24.99 Canada.
