It’s no secret that Walt Disney is always looking towards the future, and their recent announcement of two new major releases for 2013 and 2014 attests to this. Their first planned major project, to be released on November 2013, is entitled “Frozen”, which will adapt the classic fairytale about the Snow Queen into CG form.
Frozen has effectively taken over the release date of the previously announced untitled Dinosaur film from Pixar, which is currently devoid of a release date. Frozen, on the other hand, is slated for a November 27, 2013 release in theaters, in both 3D and 2D versions.
As for the house of mouse’s plans for 2014, it is said that Disney-owned Marvel Studios is bumping up one of their untitled 2014 films, which moved the project from June 27 to the much nearer April 4 release date. There are no announcements regarding the project, but Marvel has another project arriving on May 16th of the same year and there are rumors going around that one of these two untitled projects will be the sequel to Captain America: First Avenger.
