Disney Launches New Where's My Water Animated Series

Disney Interactive has recently launched a new short form online animated video series titled Disney Where’s My Water? Presents: Swampy’s Underground Adventures (12 episodes) at Disney.com and at their Youtube channel (youtube.com/disneyshows). The show is also scheduled to premiere on Disney Channel starting next month.

Swampy’s Underground Adventures follows the misadventures of the titular alligator, who is Disney’s first ever mobile character and a star of his own mobile game franchise, Where’s My Water? which originally launched in mobile platforms last 2011.

The new Swampy series will also mark the first coproduction between Disney Interactive and Youtube, as part of their plan to offer original family-friendly video series via the web. The 12 episodes of Swampy’s Underground Adventures will launch weekly. Disney will support the launch of Swampy’s Underground Adventures by featuring episodes on in-store screens in 175 Disney Stores in the US tomorrow, Saturday, October 20, where there will be Where’s My Water? giveaways at each location.
