Dr. Seuss’s Holidays on the Loose Comes to DVD

Dr. Seuss’s Holidays on the Loose” Comes to DVD on October 18, 2011

Iconic animated classics The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch, and many others return to the small screens with the October 18th DVD release of Dr. Seuss’s Holidays on the Loose! The DVD set comes with three Dr. Seuss specials such as: 1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas – featuring the voice of Boris Karloff, this is the story of a town’s Christmas spirit being stolen by the Grinch, by way of stealing their holiday treats. Will the Grinch succeed or does Christmas mean a little bit more than what’s under the Christmas Tree?

2. The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat – What happens when the happy-go-lucky Cat in the Hat decides to stand in the way of the Grinch’s plan to wreak havoc upon the world? Winner of an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Animated Program in 1982.

3. Halloween is Grinch Night – we all know that the Grinch hates and wants to stop Christmas, but things turn out differently when it comes to Halloween. The Grinch wants to co-opt Halloween and declare it as Grinch Night.

Dr. Seuss’ Holidays On the Loose! also comes with several bonus features such as interviews with the people behind the specials, a biography gallery, several songs, and the Grinch Pencil Test.

It may come a couple of months early but Dr. Seuss’s Holidays on the Loose! is perfect for people who are looking to give something clean and educational to their kids (or to their young at heart adult friends).
