DreamWorks to Launch New Theme Park in New Jersey

DreamWorks Launches New Theme Park in New Jersey

Fans of DreamWorks Animation’s famous movies, such as Shrek and Kung Fu Panda, will be pleased to know that the studio has inked a deal with developer Triple Five in order to create a new indoor family-targeted theme park and retail destination in New Jersey Meadowlands.

DreamWorks’ planned theme park will be called American Dream at Meadowlands, and will be the first North American amusement park to feature DreamWorks Animation’s characters (at least, the first North American amusement park to feature DreamWorks’ characters legally).

American Dream at Meadowlands will feature themed rides, attractions, with the retail and entertainment venue also housing a water park, an ice skating rink, an indoor ski park, and several theatres along with nearly 1.7 million square feet of retail space and 150,000 square feet of dining and restaurants.

No details have been announced yet as to when we can expect American Dream at Meadowlands to launch.
