DreamWorks Signs Broadcast Deals for Team Franco

DreamWorks has recently signed a number of major-market deals for the animated TV series Team Franco. The CG animated series is co-produced by Formula Fun Entertainment and targeted towards kids aged 3 to 7 and is supported by an extensive toys, games, and licensed merchandising campaign.

Team Franco (52 x 11) was created by Marina Nicholas and targets kids aged four to seven, and will feature the global adventures of a six year old boy’s imaginary team of race cars. The series aims to expose kids to different cultures and landscapes, while encouraging imaginative play.

The series has been snapped up by Russia’s Channel One Carousel, Slovenia’s Pro Plus, Ukraine’s QTV and Kazakhstan TV. Additional broadcasters currently on-board include TV2 (Norway), MTV Oy (Finland), Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) and IBC (Iceland).
