Early shots of The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made

Hey, puppets are considered a form of animation – thus, so are Muppets! Besides, who wouldn’t want to hear more about all our lovable pals, from Kermit to Miss Piggy? Not only has the group had multiple television shows and several already existing theatrical releases, the Disney-owned property created by Jim Henson also had an animated run in the 80s with the cartoon “Muppet Babies”. But that aside, as MightyGeek began reporting a few weeks back, progress on the upcoming film, tentnatively titled The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made, set to open on December 25th, 2011, has begun to speed up, with the first shots already being released to the press – which ToonBarn is happy to be part of 🙂 Check them out!
