Novel Entertainment’s Horrid Henry Gets New Broadcast Deals


UK company Novel Entertainment has recently announced a raft of new broadcast deals for their hit animated kids’ toon Horrid Henry courtesy of their global distribution partner, Zodiak Kids.

The new broadcast deals, as well as the returning ones include season 3 IPTV and DVD rights to Asiana (Korea); season 3 TV rights to ERT (Greece); season 3 and seasons 1 & 3 re-licenses to Mediacorp (Singapore); season 1 renewal for NRK (Norway); seasons 2 & 3 for Pro Plus (Slovenia) and seasons 1, 2 & 3 to PlusPlus (Ukraine).

Season 1 will also be making its debut in Israel via Noga Communications. The third 52 x 11 season of the 2D animated show, currently airing on ITV1 and CITV in the U.K., brings the total to 156 episodes. Previous broadcast deals include Cartoon Network (Asia Pacific), ZDF (Germany), RTE (Ireland), RUV (Iceland), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), RTP (Portugal), TVP1 (Poland), Iconix (Korea) and Digiturk (Turkey).
