Entertainment One has recently announced that their hit superhero-themed preschool series, PJ Masks, will be making a huge splash in China this spring courtesy of a raft of new deals with the region’s leading VOD platforms. The first part of the deal involves Tencent, iQiYi, and Youku carrying all 52 x 11 min episodes of PJ Masks’ first season in their library of VOD content.
Furthermore, eOne is also launching a dedicated PJ Masks consumer products program for China, adding yet more licensees to the property’s extensive list of licensees all over the world (which amounts to more than 600 at the time of writing.)
For the uninitiated, PJ Masks revolves around the three young friends Connor, Amaya, and Greg, who turn into pint-sized superheroes Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko when they put on their pajamas and activate their animal amulets. They go on adventures filled with action, mysteries, and valuable life lessons.
