First Trailer for The Grinch CG Movie Released

Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have just unveiled a new first look teaser trailer for the upcoming CG animated film, The Grinch. Based on the 1957 book by Dr. Seuss, The Grinch follows the eponymous curmudgeon as he whiles away his days inside a cave on Mount Crumpet, with only his pet dog Max as company. Every Christmas, the Grinch’s solitude is disrupted by all the merrymaking going on by the Whos who live in Who-ville. In an effort to preserve his peace and quiet, the Grinch decides to steal Christmas.

You can check out the teaser below:

The Grinch will feature the voice of Benedict Cumberbatch, with Scott Mosier and Yarrow Cheney serving as co-directors. Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy are attached as producers. The film will be released in theaters in November 9.
