Foothill Entertainment has been appointed by the award-winning production company Sockeye Media to distribute its edutainment live-action/animation series Mother Goose Club. The series has been popular on YouTube, reaching more than 6 billion views to date. The collaboration was announced by the CEO of Foothill Entertainment Kavanagh Payne and CEO of Sockeye Media Harry Jho.
The agreement includes the presentation of the series for the 1st time at MIPCOM and MIP Junior. The episodes feature never-before-seen content that is available for multimedia platforms and broadcast. In addition, Foothill Entertainment will also serve as co-executive producers and co-development with Sockeye Media for the new version (CGI animated version) of Mother Goose Club for the worldwide market.
Mother Goose Club is created by educators Harry and Sona Jho, which features 6 colorful live-action charactors who bring original songs and nursery rhymes to life as they teach language skills to young children.
The new CG-animated series is under development for 2017 and 2018. It reimagines The Mother Goose Club characters in a story-driven narrative and set in the wonderful land of Goosica and lead by the bombastic King Kuckoo.
