FUNimation Secures Rights to Samurai Warriors Anime
FUNimation has recently announced that they have added the anime adaptation of Koei’s Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou to their winter simulcast line-up. The franchise is known for the third person hack-and-slash games loosely based on Japanese history, and has seen iterations on various consoles and handhelds throughout the years. The first episode of the Samurai Warriors anime is scheduled to air on January 11th.
