Gundam, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman take flight in Lost Heroes on Nintendo 3DS

Namco Bandai’s Banpresto label announced an interesting crossover during Nintendo’s press conference, called Nintendo Direct. This new title combines Japanese super hero franchises, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman with anime powerhouse Mobile Suit Gundam in Lost Heroes. The new 3DS title is a dungeon crawling role playing game set to hit Japanese shelves next year. Check out the debut trailer after the jump.

Kamen Rider is an incredibly popular Japanese super hero who initially took the airwaves in 1971 with Kamen Rider, and has since spawned more than 20 sequel and spinoffs series. The latest, Kamen Rider: Fourze takes things into space, and is currently airing in Japan.

Ultraman is arguably one of Japan’s biggest super heroes. He took the airwaves in 1966 and has also spawned more than 20 successive shows. The latest in the Ultra Series in Japan is Ultraman Retsuden, a 45th anniversary look back series on all of the previous Ultra soldiers.

Mobile Suit Gundam celebrates its thirtieth anniversary. The anime franchise, which started with Yoshiyuki Tomino’s Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 revolutionized the world of anime, spinning off countless series. The latest of which, Gundam Age, is currently airing in Japan.
