Gundam Seed Destiny HD Remaster Comes Out on March
Fans of Gundam SEED were given a nice 10th anniversary gift last year when the HD remaster of the popular mecha franchise was released as a way of celebrating its early 00s relaunch. Now, Bandai and Sunrise are no longer waiting for another anniversary to follow up with an HD remaster of the 2004 sequel Gundam Seed Destiny, as they have announced a March 29 online premiere for the remaster, followed by a TV debut slotted for April 7th.
Of course, if you’re going to nitpick, you can say that a remaster of Gundam SEED was already streamed via Youtube, with english subs. However, the Youtube stream was not in HD, so if you want so much HD quality that you can actually see the hairs on the Freedom Gundam’s skin, you’ll want to wait for March (and you better have one of those HD TV sets that are so sophisticated, they make hair appear on things that don’t really have any)
