Mark Hamill, Lena Heady, David Bradley Join Trollhunters S2 Cast

What does Luke Skywalker have in common with Walder Frey and Cersei Lannister? Their voice actors have all been cast for the second season of DreamWorks Trollhunters! According to a recent announcement from Netflix, Mark Hamill, Lena Headey and David Bradley will be joining existing cast members Kelsey Gramme, Ron Perlman, Steven Yeun, Anjelica Huston, Jonathan Hyde, Amy Landecker and Charlie Saxton. The late Anton Yelchin’s voice will also be part, as the actor managed to complete recording for season 2 before his untimely death.

The second season is scheduled to premiere later this year, and is said to follow protagonist Jim Lake Jr. (Yelchin) as he makes his way into the Darklands by himself, leaving best friends and fellow Trollhunters, Toby and Claire, behind. Hamill’s role is an unknown older brother to a member of the Trollhunting team, who has allied with the evil Gunmar. Headey, on the other hand, lends her voice to an extremely powerful and evil sorceress while Bradley voices a mysterious character who is known to possess vast magical powers, but unexpectedly turn out to be something else when discovered by the Trollhunters.

Trollhunters is created and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro with Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas, Chad Hammes, and Christina Steinberg as executive producers. The series originally premiered on Netflix last September, consisting of 26 episodes. The second season is said to consist of only 13 episodes.
