In the infamous apartment building Shinbi, Hari and her family move to unit number 444. They thought they got a great deal on their new place, but spooky things occur almost immediately. Loud noises echo from the stairs, despite the remaining units being vacant. A weird little 102 year-old goblin named Shinbi crawls up from a manhole and challenges Hari to a bet. Haunted House originally debuted on cable channel Tooniverse in 2014 as a two-part pilot special. The first television show, Secret of the Ghost Ball, ran for 24 episodes in 2016/2017. A second season, The Birth of Ghost Ball X, aired its first 13 episode half between November 2017 and March 2018. The second part of the season began last month. Sandwiched between the two was the theatrical film The Secret of the Cave which opened in the summer. The series is so big it’s even inspired its own live-action TV drama. Hari’s Stolen Memory aired for 12 episodes between August and September of this year. A third season of the animated series is expected to launch in 2019.
The Haunted House franchise is a production of CJ E&M, with animation produced by Cocktail Media. The show’s English language version was handled by Ocean Productions.
