My Hero Academia Reveals Trailer for Season 3

The superhero-themed shonen anime My Hero Academia is getting ready for the premiere of its 3rd season on April 7, 2018. As part of a campaign to get fans as excited as they can be for the upcoming season, a new trailer is currently making the rounds on the World Wide Web. The trailer features the new opening theme for the series, UVERworld’s “ODD FUTURE.” We took the liberty of embedding the video below for your perusal:

My Hero Academia is an adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi’s same-titled manga set in a version of the world where people have evolved to the point of everyone being born with inhuman abilities, referred to as “quirks.” The story revolves around the boy Izuku Midoriya, who was born without a quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero.

Kenji Nagasaki directs the My Hero Academia TV series, while BONES handles the animation. The 3rd season will air in Japan on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. Reports also reveal a movie scheduled for a Summer 2018 release in Japan.
