Zodiak Kids has recently secured a bunch of new global broadcast and SVOD deals for Novel Entertainment’s commercial and critically successful animated series Horrid Henry. The series is born from the best selling book series from Francesca Simon and illustrator Tony Ross.
The new deals consist of renewal orders from Turner Broadcasting Asia for seasons 1-4 in the APAC region, Netflix for the first 52 episodes in North America, France, Australia, and New Zealand. ERT Greece for Season 1, and Pop Slovenia for seasons 1 to 3. Media Corp Singapore also joins in by snagging season 4 and TG4 Ireland picked up seasons 3 and 4. The UK also gets all existing episodes via iTunes. The new deals mean that over 90 territories across the globe now have Horrid Henry on offer.
Horrid Henry is currently one of the most popular children’s animated shows in the UK, with brand extensions that cover film, stage, radio, and even online licensing and merchandising. The show itself continues to be popular in the digital arena via Netflix, Hulu, and iTunes. For more details, you can visit the Horridhenry.me website.
