If you’re one of the many people who felt that Hotel Transylvania shouldn’t stop after one movie, you’ll be glad to know that Sony is debuting a charming new animated short directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, which will focus on an event that happened only a night before the events in the movie took place.
Titled “Goodnight Mr. Foot,” the short finds Bigfoot checking into Hotel Transylvania mere hours before the plot of the movie starts to unfold. Tartakovsky himself describes it as “a day in the life of the hotel before all the stuff happened.” Voiced by Corey Burton, Bigfoot is tired after walking halfway around to world and clearly needs to get some rest at the hotel. Unfortunately, he is constantly bothered by an overanxious witch made. Dracula will be making a non-speaking cameo in the short.
“It’s his breakout. He’s the star,” Tartakovsky says of the Bigfoot. “And his feet are big. They had to be. They don’t call him ‘Medium-Sized Foot.’ It’s Bigfoot. I haven’t spent so much time on toenails in a while.”
