Hotel Transylvania’s Plans for the San Diego Comic Con Announced
Hotel Transylvania’s director Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars) and producer Michelle Murdocca (Open Season) will be sharing new footage from their upcoming horror-comedy CG film Hotel Transylvania during a panel at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 12, at 3 PM in the Indigo Ballroom of the Hilton San Diego Bayfron Hotel.
Tartakovsky and Murdocca will use the panel to discuss Hotel Transylvania and take questions from the audience. There will also be a screeing of never-before-seen footage from the film. After the panel, Tartakovsky will be signing limited edition Hotel Transylvania posters at the Sony booth #4229 at 4PM.
Hotel Transylvania follows the story of Count Dracula himself as he tries to run a vacation resort exclusive to creatures of the night, where the monsters and their loved ones can spend a worry-free vacation without any humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited his closest friends and their families in order to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis, which would be easy for the vampire, if it weren’t for the fact that an ordinary guy accidentally stumbles into the hotel and develops a crush on Mavis.
Hotel Transylvania features the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Selena Gomez, Steve Buscemi, CeeLo Green, David Spade, Molly Shannon and Fran Drescher. It will be release by Sony on September 28, 2012.
