House of Magic to Launch in South Korea

According to The Hollywood Reporter, French-Belgian 3D animated feature The House of Magic is slated to make its debut in South Korea, ahead of premieres in other territories around the world. Directed by Ben Stassen and Jeremy Degruson (Sammy’s Adventures, Fly Me to the Moon), the film has been penciled in for December 24 in South Korea, followed by a Christmas Day premiere in French theaters.

A joint production by nWave and Studio Canal, House of Magic focuses on a stray cat named Thunder that finds a new home at an old magician’s house, and must make friends with Jack Rabbit and Maggie Mouse in order to save their home from an evil niece.

It is said that nWave has decided to release the film early as a result of their previous success with Sammy’s Adventures 2, which garnered two million admissions.
