The Hub Celebrates Care Bears' 30th with New CG Series

The Care Bears will celebrate their 30th anniversary this year with a return to TV via The Hub’s new CG animated series, entitled Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot. The new series is scheduled to debut on Saturday, June 2, at 8 AM ET/PT.

Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot will still be based on the original Care Bears property, which focuses on cute little bears that come in different color and a specialized insignia on the belly, which represents its duty and personality. The original show debuted back in 1982 as a tie in with the line of greeting cards and toys made by American Greetings. The new series will still be produced by American Greetings Properties, which is the outbound licensing division of American Greetings Corporation.

In support of the new Care Bears series, the network’s website www.hubsworld.com will feature Care Bears Games and activities, as well as multimedia content including video clips, teaser trailers, and even full length episodes of the new series.
