The New Stuff

First Image from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

The first image for the upcoming sequel for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (which is sometimes subtitled as Revenge of the Leftovers) has been released, with the image proving that Sony’s new animated project will be every bit as vibrant and colorful as its predecessor.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where the original left off, with inventor Flint Lockwood now joining his idol Chester V at the Live Corp Company for The World’s Brightest Scientific Minds.

All is going smoothly, until Flint discovers that his invention from the first movie, which converts water into food, has been modified in order to create food-animal hybrids called “foodimals.” Humanity soon finds itself under threat from a race of shrimpanzees, tacodiles and double bacon cheespiders.
