The Incredibles to Get Their Own Lego Game

There are numerous superhero properties that have been adapted into Lego videogames, most notable of which are the properties owned by Marvel and DC Comics. However, a toy packaging reveals that a new superhero franchise will be getting their own Lego videogame treatment: Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles.

For the uninitiated, The Incredibles is a 2004 CG animated feature about a family of former superheroes that hid their powers so they can live a peaceful suburban life. The father, Mr. Incredible’s desire to continue his superheroic activities draws the entire family into a showdown with a former aspiring sidekick-turned-supervillain. The series had many video game adaptations, and a sequel is coming in June of this year, so a new videogame is hardly surprising.

However, that does not change the fact that a LEGO Incredibles will be a milestone. It is the first Pixar property to have a Lego videogame adaptation, and it is also announced that the game will have nods to other Pixar properties.

There are no details about the release date yet, but it’s most likely near the release date of the film.
