The Jellies will Debut on Adult Swim Next Month

Since its announcement this spring, the irreverent adult toon comedy The Jellies! has been anticipated by fans of Adult Swim, as the series seems like a perfect fit for the channel. Thankfully, people no longer need to wait for much longer, as The Jellies! will finally be making its grand debut on Sunday, October 22 at 12:15 am on Adult Swim.

The Jellies! is described as a quarter-hour animated series that focuses on a family of jellyfish, particularly their 16 year old human son, Cornell. It turns out that Cornell was not initially aware that he was adopted at birth (despite being biologically different from his family), and so the revelation proved to be too much, sending the hapless teen on a journey to find himself. Of course, this being a comedy show, Cornell’s soul searching usually leads to chaos and hilarity for every one involved.
