The Jim Henson Company Launches Youtube Pay Channel

The Jim Henson Company has recently started their own Youtube pay channel, dubbed the Jim Henson Family TV. The new channel will be showcasing full episodes such as Fraggle Rock, Sid the Science Kid, and The Moops for $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year. Since it’s a paid channel, all episodes will be shown free of ads. The channel url is

Launched on the same day is Jim Henson TV para la familia en español, which will showcase Henson shows in Spanish for the introductory price of $1.99/month or $17.99/year. There are plans to let English channel subscribers upgrade to include the Spanish channel on their plan, for only an additional .99 per month. Viewers can also viewers can subscribe to both English and Spanish channels for $34.99/year.

“YouTube is once again redefining how, when and where we enjoy our favorite shows,” says Richard Goldsmith, Henson’s exec VP of global distribution. “With the launch of Jim Henson Family TV, audiences can watch our hit shows again and again and we welcome parents to introduce their favorite Henson titles to their children in a convenient and affordable way.”
