Disney Junior fans from the U.S. will have a brand new animated series to look forward to this holiday season, as the channel will be launching the new preschool series Kate & Mim-Mim on December 19 at 8 pm ET/PT. Produced and developed by Nerd Corps Entertainment, the series was created by husband and wife team Scott and Julie Stewart, based on their own children’s creative fantasies.
Kate & Mim-Mim focuses on the titular tyke Kate, who uses her imagination in order to take her toy rabbit Mim-Mim on wonderful, colorful adventures on the fantasy world of Mimiloo, where the possibilities are endless and problems can be solved through the power of thinking. The series aims to encourage exploration through preschool-appropriate themes of friendship, teamwork, and critical thinking.
Kate & Mim-Mim‘s launch will be immediately followed by a special holiday-themed episode, “A Christmas Wish.” Disney Junior will air subsequent episodes Monday through Thursday at8 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
