Holiday Specials

To get you in the festive mood, KidsClick has gathered up a new batch of Holiday premieres for you.

Abominable Christmas

After two abominable snowkids are chased from their mountain hideaway, they are forced to spend Christmas with the most feared animal of them all: humans.

Despite repeated warnings about humans from their father, the Abominable Snowman, two Abominable Snowkids find themselves in a sleepy Colorado mountain town after being chased out of their hideaway by a scientist determined to capture them. A 7 year- old girl takes them in, over the objections of her father and brother, and the family quickly grows to question the wisdom of housing these wild beasts. With Christmas fast approaching, the Abominable Snowman, and the scientist, and the local Animal Control all try to track the Snowkids down, while the family just tries to stay sane when they realise exactly what they’ve taken into their home.

In the end, the Snowkids are finally reunited with their father, and in the process, they help bring the human family closer together, just in time for Christmas.

Produced by Kickstart Productions and Arc Entertainment, this 45-minute special stars Ray Liotta, Emilio Estevez, Matthew Lillard, Ariel Winter, Jane Lynch, Isabella Acres, and Nolan Gould. Directed by Chad van de Keere and written by Michael Shear and Samantha Shear, it first debuted on Cartoon Network in 2012.

KidsClick will air Abominable Christmas on November 22nd, November 24th, December 17th and 18th (split over two days), December 23rd, and December 24th/25th (split over two days).

A Christmas Special: Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir

It’s Christmas in Paris, a time for generosity, giving and spending time with family. At least not for everyone, Adrien has to celebrate his first Christmas without his mom, and he thinks that his father is not interested in celebrating the holiday with him this year, which inspires him the idea to run away from home as Cat Noir to sing out his anger in the cold and snow. When the news of his disappearance spreads all over Paris, Adrien’s friends go out searching for him while Marinette transforms as Ladybug to search the cold and snow for the boy she secretly loves. But things get worse when she accidentally causes a man dressed as Santa to get akumatized on Christmas Eve, now Ladybug and Cat Noir have to stop him before he destroys the holiday for everyone.

Zag’s French superheroes have been a mainstay of the KidsClick block since its launch. You can check out this Christmas special on November 22nd, November 24th, November 30th, December 7th, December 22nd and December 25th.

Frozen in Time

It’s Christmas Eve morning, and mischievous Eric and Patty Purtle have to spend the holidays with their crazy inventor grandfather, the last place they want to be. Chaos ensues as Eric and Patty sneak their dog Arnie along for the ride, make a mess at the local mall, ruin Christmas dinner, set off a chain reaction in Grandpas self cooking kitchen, and finally ruin their grandfather’s most favorite invention, a strange elaborate clock. Sent to bed in shame, the two siblings have officially ruined Christmas.

They wake up the next day to find it’s Christmas Eve all over again, and it’s even worse than before! Soon they realise they are stuck in a Never-ending Christmas; at first they can’t believe their luck, but eventually realize they have to do something. Reliving the day over and over our team will do anything they can to break the spell. Ending up at the North Pole on their quest to fix Christmas!

Produced by Kickstart Productions and Arc Entertainment, this 45-minute special stars Edward Asner, Drake Bell, Colin Murdock, Richard Newman, Valin Shinyei, Mira Sorvino, and Alyssya Swales. Directed by  Alex Leung and written by Melissa Rundle, it first debuted as a direct-to-video title in 2014.

KidsClick will air Frozen in Time on November 22nd, December 19th and 20th (split over two days), December 22nd, December 23rd, and December 26th/27th (split over two days).

The Naughty List

The North pole on the eve of Christmas, and two elves get themselves in hot water. When Snowflake’s mischief-loving brother Winter goes too far with a prank, they both get stuck on the naughty list, doing a seemingly never-ending list of chores for Santa.

Keeping them company there is a spunky young reindeer named Sparkle, who joins the boys as they try to make up for Winter’s misdeed. As they start to feel like they might never get off the naughty list, Winter’s inability to follow the rules put the North Pole in a serious jam, right before Santa’s big night.

Suddenly Christmas needs to be saved and there’s nobody else who’s up to the task. It’s up to the trio of mischief-makers to save the holiday and make Santa proud. Can they fix things in time? Or will they be stuck on the naughty list for good?

Produced by Kickstart Productions and Arc Entertainment, this 45-minute special stars Drake Bell, Sean Astin, Naya Rivera, Kyle Chandler, and Matthew Lillard. Directed by Gordon Crum and Jay Surridge and written by Michael Shear and Samantha Shear, it first debuted as a direct-to-video title in 2013.

Bara is determined to help pull Santa’s sleigh along with his cousins this year! Santa meets Baloo and Mowgli who help Santa fix his sleigh, while Barasingh and Lory search the jungle for the presents and land up confronting the mad monkeys and then Shere Khan.
