KidsClick launches video-on-demand options, Zak Storm contest

KidsClick, the morning cartoon block from Sinclair Broadcast Group that launched last July on ThisTV and select local stations, has finally launched its video-on-demand options. Viewers eager to check out episodes of RoboCop: Alpha Commando, Scary Larry, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug &Cat Noir, plus a lot more, can now do so both on their web browser and on their favourite portable hardware.

The official KidsClick website has been relaunched to support official streaming versions of their shows. They’ve also added a games section, where players can find Pac-Man Dash! and Miraculous Ladybug browser-based titles.

On October 26th, Sinclair launched an app on Google Play for Android devices. On November 6th, the iOS version went live for all Apple mobile owners. Here’s what it can do:

Join your favorite cartoon characters on the KidsCLICK App (the “App”) today! Explore hundreds of hours of episodes or watch new episodes live, 7 days a week! Always FREE, no logins or subscriptions required. Every day the shows you want to see are just a click away.

Explore our ever-growing library of classic cartoons and new favorites. We’ve got pirates, crime fighters, adventurers, princesses, superheroes, ninjas, zombies, race cars and so much more.

Once you download the app, you will never have to search for your favorite cartoons again because they are all in one place on the KidsCLICK App.

Live episodes are available Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 9:00am, Saturday and Sunday 7:00am – 10:00am.

During the block’s initial announcement, Sinclair stated: “KidsClick also will be available online (desktop and mobile), via tablet and smartphone apps and games, and via OTT platforms like Roku, in addition to broadcast television. The content will consist of an ever-growing list of long- and short-form video content that is appropriate for kids and advertisers, with an industry-exclusive hyper-local advertising/promotional component through Sinclair’s 170+ station websites as well as ThisTV’s website.”

Additionally, in partnership with Chuck E. Cheese, KidsClick has launched its first contest! The Zak Storm: Ultimate Birthday Sweepstakes will see one lucky winner receive a Chuck E. Cheese’s VIP Mega Superstar Party, a whole host of Zak Storm action figures and play sets from Bandai America, plus a Samsung Galaxy A Tablet. 100 runner ups will get Zak Storm Collectible Treasure Coins packs for use in the official app. The contest is open to residents of the United States. Children under the age of 13 must have a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21 enter for them. The contest closes November 20th and a winner will be picked at random on the 21st.

KidsClick launched July 1, 2017 on ThisTV and select Sinclair-owned television stations. The block runs seven days a week. On weekdays, you can catch it between 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. and on weekends 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. eastern/pacific. Do note, however, that the local stations are free to air KidsClick on their own schedule, so it’s best to consult a TV guide!
