The King of Fighters: Destiny gets additional seasons, movie
iDragons has confirmed that The King of Fighters: Destiny, its adaptation of SNK’s fighting video game franchise, will continue onwards. The CG web-series will receive both a second and third season, as well as a film. The goal is to tell the entire story, from Fatal Fury and King of Fighters ’94 through to the end of the Orochi Saga with King of Fighters ’97.
The King of Fighters: Destiny debuted on a variety of Chinese streaming services last August. In the west, the first 24-episode season is available to watch on Steam and YouTube:
Destiny isn’t all that SNK fighter fans have to look forward to. The company announced SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. As the title implies, the new game will feature a cast of female characters throughout SNK’s history of releases in a tag team showdown. It’s due out this summer and will be published internationally by NIS America.
