LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar roars onto Family Channel

Canada’s Family Channel has begun airing LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar. The new 13-episode mini-series picks up where last fall’s The Secret Exhibit TV special ended.

Newly hired animal behaviorist and Assistant Manager of Park Operations team up on Isla Nublar to deal with everything hectic life around the Jurassic World park throws their way. They have to deal with runway dinosaurs, ongoing construction to expand the park, tourists everywhere, unpredictable tropical weather, and an impulsive boss! Plus, a mysterious saboteur with surprising ties to the park’s past is on a quest to find a legendary treasure and destroy Jurassic World forever! What could possibly go wrong? Everything.

The DHX Media-owned network began airing the show on July 6th, with new episodes scheduled to air weekly. The series is animated by Vancouver’s Atomic Cartoons and stars Ian Hanlin as Owen Grady, with Britt McKillip as Claire Dearing.

International releases around the world are expected to occur sometime this year.

This is far from the only animated fun the Jurassic Park franchise is up to. Last month, DreamWorks announced the Netflix bound Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
