Little Charmers Gets New Licensees
Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has recently announced the addition of five new industry leaders to their ever-growing roster of partners for the hit CG animated preschool series Little Charmers, which follows 3 “Charmers in Training” from the magical land of Charmville, as they go on spellbinding adventures while learning how to control their new powers.
The list of new licensees include The Bentex Group with their divisions of Extreme Concepts, Dreamwave and H.I.S. International (Master Apparel); SG Companies (SGI Apparel Group – sleepwear; SG Footwear); Franco Manufacturing (juvenile bedding and bath); Accessory Innovations (backpacks and bags) and Fantasia Accessories Ltd. (jewelry, hair accessories, headwear, handwear and rainwear).
Previously announced licensees include global English-language publishing partner Scholastic, Rubie’s Costume Company, Baby Boom Consumer Products (toddler bed and bath) and Bakery Crafts. Little Charmers is produced by Nelvana and Spin Master, and is set to debut on Nickelodeon (U.S.) and Treehouse (Canada) this winter. Production and Master Toy partner Spin Master will launch a toy collection to mass retail this fall.
